Tennessee Tornado Information

If you are a National General Insurance policyholder who lives in Benton, Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Humphreys, Putnam, Smith or Wilson counties, and have suffered property damage, injuries, loss of life, or have been displaced as a result of the Tennessee tornadoes, that occurred on March 2 and 3, rest assured that we will work with you to keep your National General Insurance coverage active.
To help those affected by the storm remain insured, policyholders will be entitled to a 60-day payment extension on their insurance premium. Please note this extension does not waive your obligation to pay the premium.
Please call our customer service department at 1-888-293-5108 to learn more about the extension and get information about your insurance policy. A friendly agent is standing by, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. CST, and Saturday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. CST, to help you understand your coverage during this difficult time.
You may also file a claim 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, by calling 1-800-325-1088.
To learn more, please visit the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance Directive to understand how insurance companies will be responding in the coming days and weeks. You can find additional help and information by visiting the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance online or by calling their Consumer Services line 1-615-741-2218 or 1-800-342-4029.
Our thoughts and best wishes are with those adversely impacted.
